What You Can Expect of the Job


  • You’ll develop and drive sales strategy and campaigns for MRO business & spare sales, including landing gear overhaul campaigns, component modifications or retrofit campaigns and initial spares provisioning.
  • You’ll advance and secure long-term contracts, including understanding market trends and identifying opportunities, driving sales pursuit, building business cases, and leading commercial & contract negotiations.
  • You’ll position and market Liebherr-Aerospace aftersales services/products, such as health management and predictive maintenance solutions and surplus trading for incremental sales.
  • You’ll achieve annual financial targets for both sales revenue and EBIT.
  • You’ll cultivate, manage and develop strong business relationships with customer’s key stakeholders, maintain routine interface with customer contacts at all levels and ensure excellent customer service and experience.
  • You’ll act as the escalation point to the customer for Account Receivables and ensure the customer’s statement of account with Liebherr is healthy.
  • You’ll support and drive regular customer satisfaction surveys (e.g. annual Airbus supplier rating, AER trust survey).
  • Any other duties as assigned.


What We Expect of You


  • Degree in International Business, Business Management, Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering, or other equivalent discipline.
  • Proven professional experience in business development / sales & marketing / customer service roles or equivalent, preferably in the aerospace/aviation industry.
  • Extensive network within the aerospace/aviation industry.
  • Strong business acumen, vision of short, mid, long-term strategy and a customer focused mindset.
  • Excellent demonstrated proficiency in efficient usage of digital tools, such as CRM applications (e.g. MS Dynamics), MS Office suite, Power BI, Online IT Platform.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and communication skills: fluent English (written/oral); additional relevant language(s) of advantage.
  • In depth understanding of P&L, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to put together a business proposition (including business case/plan, review of offer, and presentation).
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently in a multi-cultural and fast paced business environment and display a strong sense of accountability.
  • Work on a flexible schedule which may involve working outside of regular business hours (as required from time to time).
  • Support meetings, seminars, workshops, exhibitions and company functions/events.
  • Business travel, possibly on short notice, estimated 30% - 50%.
